EWGA and BGS Golf Groups Meet and Greet
Meeting other women who love to play golf!
Do you love the game of golf? Are you interested in learning how to play the game. Several women met on Thursday, February 2 at the Blue Mesa Grill in Dallas to meet and greet. The event was sponsored by the Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA) with a special invitation to Black Girls Swing to learn more about golf and what each organization has to offer.
What is the EWGA?
Think of EWGA as having a women’s golf membership without geographic boundaries. We are women with a passion for golf who come together to connect, learn and play the game of golf for business and for fun!
EWGA, THE Golf Community for Women, is comprised of a broad range of golfers from beginners to experienced players. Members are accomplished, interesting professional women from a collection of diverse backgrounds.
The beautiful women we met at the Blue Mesa were friendly and eager to share their love for the game of golf and their experiences as a member of the EWGA.
What is the BGS?
Black Girls Swing (BGS) are a group of Women, mostly black women, who love to play golf and/or want to learn the game
According to the group’s organizer, De Philips-Johnson, “We want to reach those who want to learn the basics of golf and those willing to improve their game plus meet people on the course.”
